The intersection of science and spirituality is a place of magnetic awe to me. Examining what little we know about this universe and watching as we learn new things everyday is an endless source of joy and inspiration. This “pure essence of human wonder,” as Kurt Vonnegut called it, is the place from which I create these little odes to the Cosmos. Loosely based on images from the Hubble Telescope and Medieval representations of the Cosmos, I use watercolors and gold leafing to create paintings that I hope connect you with a sense of shared human wonder.
